Official Bachelor Party Update

First and foremost I have such a great appreciation that all you guys want to come to my Bachelor party. I cant wait till we can hang out to eat, smoke, and drink with each other.

The official weekend will be the 15/16 of August. And knowing that Gloyd will be unavailable for that weekend because he will be doing the Lord's work in Kenya, there will a camping trip earlier in the summer, the date of which will be determined by Jesse, in which hopefully can be attended by many as well. I want to do everything I can to spend time with my brothers before I get married and if that means if I might need to do a third camping trip, I will.

I would like to also state to those questioning the cooking of a pig to not worry. First, the pig will be nowhere near 100 lbs but closer to 20 lbs. I will buy a suckling pig for the roast. So don't worry your pretty little heads about the cost. Second, as far as the "skill" to cook a whole pig, I've had the opportunity to cook two whole pigs in my lifetime and one whole goat. I've also even had the privilege to slaughter three porkers as well. After 10 years of cooking for you guys on these camping trips I'm shocked to hear that you would doubt my abilities and experience. As far as being afraid of what I cook, you can have the choice of not eating any pork but I hope you choose to at least try a taste of the tender meat because it will blow your fucking mind. I have thought long and hard about the exact way I will cook it and I assure you it will be good and sanitary. You can call me and I will explain step by step how the cooking will go down.

I also feel that the environmental site will be our best move. It is farther away from our cars, but it will be farther away from other sites which will be key. As long as they allow fire in these camps, we will be good.

Overall, I how that as many as you guys can make it. It will be a blast. And I'm bringing a bucket of chimichurrie.

For LA folks, we're playing the Key Club on February 21 with Jayson and the Big Tweed.

SPRING TRAINING...

Who's in for a weekend trip down to AZ to catch some spring training baseball? I think it would be fun. I'll throw out some options and feel free to make other suggestions:
Sat. March 28- Dodgers vs. White Sox at white sox field.
Sat. March 21- Cubs vs. White Sox at white sox field.
Sun. March 29- Dodgers vs. Padres at Dodgers field.
Fri. March 27- Cubs vs. White Sox at Cubs field.

All the facilities seem pretty close to one another, so I'm sure multiple games could be watched on a day. It takes roughly 5 hours to get there. We could all crash at a hotel, or stay with people down there (I think I've got family there). I'm up for leaving on a friday and coming back on a sunday, or anything in between. Thoughts?

Big Sur and San Simeon have been booked up pretty solid this spring, so I thought Montana del Oro looked pretty cool. It is indeed breaking tradition, but it seems like it has ample room for our purposes and is in a cool spot.

Sunny Bresin

Hey guys, 

You may or may not know Sunny Bresin, but she attended Biola while we were all there (those that attended Biola that is). She recently had what appears to be a heart attack and is now in critical condition and needs your prayers. Please visit this website and keep her in your thoughts and prayers over the next few days. She is a close friend of my roommate Kelsey and Will Youngblood.
