richmond
well, so far so good out here in richmond. being a director's assistant on set has turned out to be a tiring, but extremely fun adventure. i have donald sutherland emailing me daily and calling me, i really don't have to do any crazy work...i usually have a drink at night in the hotel bar with the line producer, the upm and the director of photography. i've probably learned more about filmaking in a week that i learned in the whole time at school, at least technically speaking. i havent really gotten to explore the wonderful town of richmond virginia yet, as i havent had a day off yet, but thats alright. i found a great irish pub down the road from the hotel as to which i can celebrate st patty's...on a side note, i have ended up getting two U2 tickets for april 5th, and also two for november 3rd...that was a huge wieght off the shoulders. so--i got to check out black hawk helicopters today at an army base for a location scout...while it was snowing nonetheless...all in all its been a good time so far. and if you haven't posted your address yet, that would be much helpful if you could do it. peace

Ahh.. richmond VA, the true home of my lost soul. Perhaps someday I will make it home again. Is the Flood Zone still there? an old DMB hot spot, back when he had fluffy hair and puffy pants and danced the jig. Perhaps the jig is still danced, haven't seen him in awhile. Head on down to Byrd Park for me and have yourself a sit. Maybe break out the old hacky sack, or better yet those sticks hippies twirl and flip. ahh Richmond...ohh Richmond. I wish I could remember more.
very cool dude. phone tag. you're it.
