Lent Research
I gave up alcohol for Lent and have been getting along nicely without the usual tasty brews, wines and various adult beverages. Just before the Lent season was upon us, I took to ordering Scotch instead of my usual Guiness just to mix it up a bit. Glenfiddich served neat and The Glenlivet on the rocks were all I had to go on. As the consumption of spirits is at a pause for now, I've been researching various Scotch varieties and would like some input on whether or not to give any of the following a fair chance. Considering the wealth of knowledge of the VP readers, suggestions of personal favorites and prefered tasting method would be appreciated.
Scotch varieties suggested and researched:
Glenmorangie
Springbank
The Macallan
Spencerfield Spirit Co.
1. Sheep Dip
2. Pigs Nose
