Tim Hamulack, my favorite Dodger
Dodgers cleanup hitter Jeff Kent came out of the game after being beaned in the seventh. Kent was hit on the helmet just behind his left temple on the first pitch from Giants pitcher Brad Hennessey with one on and nobody out. Hennessey faced two more batters before being relieved.
Kent didn't appear to lose consciousness, but was wobbly as he got to his feet after being attended to by Dodgers medical personnel. He was assisted to the dugout and replaced by pinch-runner Ramon Martinez. There was no immediate word on Kent's condition.
Barry Bonds went hitless in two at-bats, making him 4-for-23 this season. He also drew his 11th walk and was hit by a pitch leading off the eighth by Tim Hamulack, who was immediately ejected by plate umpire Lance Barksdale. Bonds came out for a pinch-runner.

I was there to witness the brilliant bonds beaning. Other than that Dodgers had 3 hits. stink.
