i got in an argument

how can you defend any band for its merit when there name is not led zepplin, the rolling stones or the sex pistols. why is music like this. if it's not those bands it's not good. it's not like that with books. it's not like that with paintings. and it was basically in our lifetimes.

i don't like the name iron and wine. what's that supposed to mean. guns and roses!!!! that's a name for a band.
