sunday, late afternoon

i hung out with the coldwar kids this week. good times. they played in phila sunday night and then went on to nyc monday. i had to work in ny on tues. so i went up monday and saw their triumphant show at the bowery ballroom. i had never seen them before and am very impressed and am happy for the cold war kids. the bowery was packed and it was a great show and it was really fun to watch them play a really good show there. tuesday night we went to this party in brooklyn in this warehouse apartment that was had kids ontop of kids on top of kids all shoved in this little space rocking out to the two gallants who occupied a corner of the room. it was as if the band had no choice but to rock, their lives depended on it. they would have been forced into the ratholes in the corner if they didn't hold their musical ground, but they did, thankfully. i don't often get to spend time with quality people such as you folks, so i really enjoyed it. wednesday i had to rush back to the office and set up some neon lights because thursday i had an interview with a reporter from the associated press that went really well. hopefully something will come of that for next weekend. my friend june came back from visiting japan this week and last night we went to dinner and enjoyed some very nice sake. i hung out with the mcgraws today, the boats had a show at a coffee house and met emily's sister jenny and just got home. i'm going to indiana wednesday for the day. were getting this little collection of porcelain and i'm going to go out and make sure the packing goes well and do an inventory and do a contract and stuff. lafayette. i'm excited to go to indiana. i've only driven through once before, only the corner. i don't want to say anymore right now.
