Sorry to bring the bad news, but the bad sweater Christmas party is being cancelled. I'm having surgery on Thursday the 15th and won't be up and running around by Saturday. So they tell me at least.
a hernia is like a busted tired in a way. between the abdomen and the intestines is a thin membrane thing. a hernia is when there is a tear or a hole in the adbomen wall and th eintestines are pushing on that membrane and pushing it through the hole. so i will get mine patched up, like a tire. which brings up interesting points of how we are like cars. sometimes our engines run, well oiled and finely tuned. other times we need more freon for the AC, or new belts, or new paint. cars have insurance. we have insurance. it's just... deep. that's what it is...deep.

Well, supposedly I have a couple of hernias that need to get repaired.
thats crazy man... prayers go out to you... could you describe exactly what a hernia is, I'm thinking I have a friend who might have one.
