Conan O'Brien, on October 17th, mentioned his creation of Jub Jub and has asked Joe Buck, the announcer of the world series on FOX, to say it during his broadcast. If he does, Conan O'Brien has promised $1,000.00 to the charity of the announcers choice. On October 24, 2007, during Game 1 of the 2007 World Series, Buck calls side-line reporter Chris Myers, "our own little Jub-Jub."

J.K. Rowling outs Hogwarts character

NEW YORK - Harry Potter fans, the rumors are true: Albus Dumbledore, master wizard and Headmaster of Hogwarts, is gay. J.K. Rowling, author of the mega-selling fantasy series that ended last summer, outed the beloved character Friday night while appearing before a full house at Carnegie Hall.

After reading briefly from the final book, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," she took questions from audience members.

She was asked by one young fan whether Dumbledore finds "true love."

"Dumbledore is gay," the author responded to gasps and applause.

She then explained that Dumbledore was smitten with rival Gellert Grindelwald, whom he defeated long ago in a battle between good and bad wizards. "Falling in love can blind us to an extent," Rowling said of Dumbledore's feelings, adding that Dumbledore was "horribly, terribly let down."

Dumbledore's love, she observed, was his "great tragedy."

I am at work eating lunch. The only place I could afford today is a small vegan cafe. They had a BLT for $3.95. It is good. It contains cheese. If the cheese didn't come from milk, then what is it? The bacon is actually fake bacon bits. It's not that good, i changed my mind. That is all. Have a good weekend.

My Big Hurt

Thanks for all the prayers peoples.

I got out of the hospital today finding out that I completely tore achilles tendon in two. So I will be having surgery on Monday the 8th. And I will then be out of commission for awhile. I hear total recovery time is six months, with a few castings, and physical therapy. Ouch. I also have no insurance. Big ouch. And with me being out of work for a few months, it looks like I need to move out of my sweet place and go recover at my parents place. Double Big ouch yuck.

When I'm laid up, holla at your boy. Give me some ideas of what to do while I'm recovering.

My sister just sent me this email:
I just called the hospital and he’s in the MRI department right now. Should take 1 to 2 hours. He’s now assigned to room 3321. They won’t give detailed info over the phone but we can call later to talk directly to him. Here’s the number I called for the hospital: 323-226-2622 ask for patient information. They’ll transfer you to the nurses station on his floor. She did tell me that surgery has been canceled for today. Must be a slow process.
